DİYARBAKIR FORTRESS

With 82 bastions and a wall length of 5700 meters, Diyarbakır Fortress is one of the longest structures on Earth. While its exact date of construction is unknown, the earliest available historical record indicates its renovation in 349 BC by the Byzantine Emperor Constantine.
Within a large-scale restoration project led by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the architectural surveys for seven specific bastions and six connecting wall sections were undertaken in the capacity of a subcontractor. The work has been successfully completed and all required approvals have been secured from the relevant Regional Conservation Board.
